London’s Miracle at Henrietta: Kitschmas Cocktails & Cheer
Miracle at Henrietta, London’s highly festive Christmas bar, is returning for its eighth year, having established itself as a global phenomenon since its inception as NYC’s Miracle on Ninth Street in 2014. This franchised concept now boasts over 90 locations worldwide, with London’s iteration taking over a room at the Henrietta hotel in Covent Garden since 2018. For 2025, it will move to a new location just a few doors down Henrietta Street. The bar’s main definition lies in its immersive, unashamedly kitschy “Kiiiiiiiitschmas” vibe, overflowing with tinsel, glow-up plastic Santas, and Dean Martin tunes, creating a vintage, gaudy Christmas experience that even Blackpool Illuminations might find “a bit much.”
The “Miracle” experience extends to its drinks menu, which is styled like a Christmas card and features an array of over-the-top festive cocktails. Examples include mulled wine fizzes, cranberry sauce cosmos, and potent “Naughty” and “Nice” shots. These creatively named concoctions, such as “Christmasaurus” and “Rudolph’s Replacement,” are served in exceptionally chintzy festive drinkware, making a standard Snowball seem mundane – although the bar only offers a Snowball Old Fashioned, which lacks the traditional Advocaat or lemonade. Prices for cocktails range from £14 to £16, with shots costing £6.50.
A notable “risk” or temptation for patrons is the desire to steal the unique drinkware, a common enough occurrence that the bar proactively sells novelty mugs and glasses as souvenirs. Miracle at Henrietta is immensely popular, operating from November 10th to December 23rd, 2025. Due to high demand, booking a 1 hour 30 minute slot is strongly recommended, though a limited number of tables are reserved daily for walk-ins. The bar provides a truly unique and intense festive escapism, making it a must-visit for those seeking an extreme dose of Christmas cheer.
