Hyde Park Fun Run: Support Children’s Cancer Centre
The RBC Race for the Kids, a fun run in Hyde Park on October 11th, 2025, raises funds for the new Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). This family-friendly event offers 2k and 5k routes, suitable for all ages and abilities. Participants can run, jog, walk, wheel, or scoot, enjoying live music, games, and a festival atmosphere. Even those unable to attend in person can participate virtually through the ‘Race for the Kids at Home' initiative. The event aims to raise over £1 million to build a world-leading centre offering breakthrough treatments, a supportive environment, and resources to help children and their families. Over the past 15 years, the race has raised over £11 million. There's no minimum fundraising pledge; participants set their own targets. The new centre will provide a holistic approach, including school, playground, and garden facilities, ensuring children receive the best possible care and support while battling cancer. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a fun day out while making a significant contribution to a vital cause.
