London’s Top Events: September 2025 & Beyond
London buzzed with activity in mid-September 2025! A new David Bowie museum opened, showcasing the iconic musician’s life and work. A Banksy artwork, quickly removed, and the cleanup of a massive ‘wet wipe island’ made headlines. Custom House will become a hotel and public venue. Mick Jones of The Clash launched a temporary pop culture museum. Open House offered tours of enviable homes. TfL plans to regulate rickshaws, and a Peter Pan themed light trail promised Christmas cheer at Kenwood. Free pints, new art galleries at Bank Junction, and Canada Water’s attractions lured visitors. The Japan Matsuri celebrated Japanese culture in Trafalgar Square, while Hyde Park Winter Wonderland tickets went on sale. A new park, the Bazalgette Embankment, opened at Blackfriars, and a major Tracey Emin retrospective was announced for 2026.
