The ‘floating wellness’ component aims to enhance the dock’s reputation for open-water swimming by offering a lido, sauna, and spa experiences, alongside aspirations for increased seasonal free water access, harkening back to Victorian lido concepts. Complementing these, the ‘floating residential’ section will provide new mooring points for houseboats and floating homes, promising additional communal infrastructure for both existing land-based and new water-based residents.

Royal Docks Waterways, previously known as the Royal Docks Management Authority, holds a long lease on the dock’s water and specific land parcels.
