Greenwich’s Illuminating Autumn: Two Light Shows
This autumn, Greenwich's Old Royal Naval College will host two spectacular light shows. From October 31st, 2025 to January 25th, 2026, the Painted Hall will feature Peter Walker‘s ‘Connection' and ‘Identity'. ‘Connection', inspired by Michelangelo's Creation of Adam, and ‘Identity', showcasing illuminated columns resembling DNA structures, invite contemplation on humanity. Both are paid experiences (£17.50). Separately, from November 12th-16th, 2025, Luxmuralis presents ‘Time', a critically acclaimed projection show exploring humanity's relationship with time, projected across various ORNC sections. ‘Time' tickets (£15) also include access to ‘Connection' and ‘Identity', offering a cost-effective way to experience both. The shows promise an unforgettable journey through art, science, and history, making Greenwich a must-visit this autumn. The Royal Observatory's £77m renovation is also underway, adding to Greenwich's cultural appeal.
